A practice pad with exacly the same feel as a pipe band drum, but withoud the loud noise. Especially designed for drummers in pipe bands or indoor percussion ensembles. 
 
The 8 (13") or 10 (14") lugs and hybrid drumhead make it possible to create the same tension as your actual drum.
Default the pad is equiped with an Evans Hybrid White drum head, triple flanged chrome rim and chrome tension rods.
 
The pad was designed in detail with Daan Cornelissen, one of the founding members of RD.
The metal rim and hybrid drumhead give your rimshots a realistic feel and sound.
The baseplate is equiped with three recesses that make it possible to mount the pad higher on a standard snare drum stand.
 
For drummers that want to rehearse the late hours we introduced th option of the Evans SoundOff Mutes for that extra noise reduction.
